Besides the standard scales there are a number of scales that have been popular in jazz improvisation of various styles. Most of these scales have several trivial names described by various authors.

  Most blues scales also belong to this cathegory. Blues scales can be find immediatelly from the extensive trivial names list:

In your opened SCALES dictionary open the JAZZ.STX file and many popular jazz scales are immediatelly put on top of the stack.
